Andrew J. Lomuscio, beloved grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on March 1, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, Andrew was the cherished son of the late Ralph Joseph Lomuscio and Madeline Cermola.
A proud veteran, Andrew honorably served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1965. His time in service reflected his lifelong devotion to discipline, craftsmanship, and commitment to others—qualities that would carry forward into his personal and professional life.
Following his military service, Andrew built a rewarding career in both architecture and calligraphy, blending technical precision with an artist’s touch. His work spoke to his keen eye for beauty and structure, and he often found joy in sharing his talents with those around him.
Music was one of Andrew’s enduring passions, especially the sounds of the 1950s that brought him great joy throughout his life. A devoted parishioner of St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church in Bethpage, New York, he lent his warm voice to the church choir, finding both solace and community through song.
Andrew is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Emma St. George and Lucille Wittner; his dear nieces and nephew, with whom he shared countless stories and laughter. His presence, guidance, and gentle humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A life rooted in faith, creativity, and love, Andrew will be remembered always for his caring heart and steadfast spirit.
