

Dolores Mauro Krumm passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, at the age of 84. She resided in Rockville Centre, New York. A beloved, cherished, compassionate, and generous soul, Dolores lived a life filled with kindness, thoughtfulness, and devotion to her family and pursuits.
Born on June 16, 1941, Dolores was predeceased by her beloved husbands, Angelo Mauro and Charles Krumm. She was a hard-working and kind-hearted sister to Ronald Riebling (Lily) and Martha Riebling, and is preceded in death by siblings Connie Randa and Vincent Eklund. Dolores leaves behind a proud legacy through her children: Anthony Mauro (Cathy), Angelina Mauro-Conrad, George Mauro (Joanne), Maria Lodespoto (Sean), and Elizabeth Ferguson (Scott). Her grandchildren, Joshua McGreevy, Diana Fedorenko (Mikhail), Angelo Mauro, Sabatina Mauro (Tres), Benjamin McGreevy (Morsal), Matthew Mauro, Caralyn Mauro Conrad, Priscilla Grima, Rebecca Lodespoto, Sara Lodespoto, Pia Rose Conrad, Edward G. Conrad, and Gavin Ferguson, along with her great-grandchildren, Zoey Fedorenko, River Fedorenko, and Illya McGreevy, were her treasures.
Dolores was first and foremost a wife, a mom, and a homemaker, roles she fervently cherished. She was an accomplished ballroom dancer with Arthur Murray Dance Studios, a commercial chef, and a phenomenal saleswoman, continually proving that with hard work, she could achieve any of her ambitions. Dolores delighted in her time as a grandmother, deriving immense pride from her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The family invites you to attend visitation services on February 9, 2026, at James Funeral Home, located at 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Interment will take place at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY, on February 10, 2026, at 11:00 am.
