Emma G. Canova

EMMA G. CANOVA, passed away on January 11, 2012 from St. Augustine, Florida. Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Salvatore J. Canova. Emma will be missed by her children, Judith (Gene) Caputo, the late James (Fran) Canova, John (Carolyn) Canova, Joseph (Marie) Canova, Jeffrey (Celeste) Canova. Loving grandmother to Lori Conner, Donna Hayes, Kristi King, Salvatore Canova, Nicholas Canova, William Canova, Beth Canova, and Julie Canova. Adored great grandmother to Emily Conner, Cassidy Conner, Mia Conner, Elizabeth Cheiky, Joseph Hayes, Nicholas King, and Christopher King. Loving sister to Michael Tanzey, the late Lillian Petty, the late Richard Becker, the late Fred Becker, and the late Ann Tanzey. Emma was a wonderful homemaker. In her spare time Emma would knit, crochet, and enjoyed her crafts. Family and friends are welcome to James Funeral Home on Monday, January 16, 2012, 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 9:30 pm. All are welcome to the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:15 am before leaving to St. James RC Church, 75 Seamens Neck Road, Seaford 10:15 am mass. Interment to follow to St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
