Ernest Sparacino was truly one of a kind. He was an incredible son, a devoted husband to the love of his life Marie, loving father to his son Ernie Jr, daughter Michele & son in law Rob. Although his favorite title of all was Grandpa to Liam & Hannah. They were his world. He never missed a game, recital, competition, or concert and every activity in between. He would drop absolutely everything at a moment’s notice when it came to his grandbabies. Ernie loved all his family fiercely and always made sure we were taken care of. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to help any of us.
He was an extremely hard worker, beginning his career as an electrician and later retiring in building management. His work ethic was unmatched. We all knew and loved his passion for cars especially his Cadillacs. He could spend hours washing, waxing, and caring for them. If you were lucky enough to leave your keys within reach, your car would get washed too.
Ernie was a real-life MacGyver. There was nothing he couldn’t fix or figure out. If something broke, it went to Grandpa. If you had a problem and didn’t know what to do, you asked Ernie, because if he didn’t already know the answer, he would figure it out.
Though he loved teasing my mom about being messy and unorganized. He wouldn’t t of traded one minute with her for anything. He was always there for anyone in need. He would light candles and say a prayer at church for anyone who needed extra prayers. He would buy extra groceries for the food pantry quietly helping others without ever expecting anything in return.
So in the words of my Daddy…
To cut a long story short, It’s time to make the doughnuts, He will be loved, missed, and remembered forever. 🤍
We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you shall remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives,
Until we meet again.
So rest in peace dear loved one,
And thanks for all you’ve done,
We pray that God has given you,
The crown you’ve truly won.
