Originally hailing from Brooklyn, Felicia was resident of North Massapequa, New York, at the time of her passing. Felicia was the loving wife of her beloved husband, Thomas. Together, they shared a full life as devoted parents to Anthony (Lisa), Thomas, and Paul, and cherished grandparents to Anthony (Valentina), Thomas III, Nicole, Ashley, Kayla, and Grace. She also leaves behind her brother Pasquale (Elizabeth) and in-laws Victoria and Charles, as well as being a beloved aunt.
A strong willed and passionate woman, Felicia filled her time with activities and hobbies she enjoyed. She loved going to Jakes 58 casino to play slots, cooking delicious meals, and was particularly protective of her recipes. Soups were her specialty, creating warm bowls of comfort especially beloved during the colder months. Felicia and Thomas enjoyed traveling to Aruba, a favorite spot they visited every year for the past two decades. She loved watching TV shows, including Judge Judy and soap operas, as well as Mass every Sunday, but there was nothing she loved more on the weekends than sharing a warm bowl of her beloved pasta with family.
Felicia had a special place in her heart for St. Jude, a charity she supported passionately. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to this beloved charity in her memory.
A beautiful matriarch of her family, Felicia had a witty sense of humor and was a pillar of comfort and safety for everyone. She always made sure to present herself ready to face the world with her hair, makeup, and nails meticulously done. Despite every hardship she faced, there was never a day where she wasn’t willing to leave a caring voicemail or cook a comfort meal with love.
There will be a Visitation to honor Felicia’s life at the James Funeral Home, located at 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758 on January 27 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
