Marie L. Obst

MARIE L. OBST, of N. Massapequa, on January 16, 2012. Marie was a loving wife to Harry of 58 years and together raised 4 children. Cathy (Robert Preston), Richard, Laurie (Gordon Knize), Gary (Valerie Obst). She was a grandmother to 6 special grandchildren, Nicholas, Sean, Amanda, Michelle, Gary and Shelby. And a special great grandchild, Alexander. Marie leaves behind her sisters and brothers, Russell, Joan, Linda, and the late Donald. She was active as a Church Secretary for many years. Marie also was loved by her dog Hailey and her cat Twinkie.

~ Visitation will be held on January 19, Thursday ~ 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. ~

~ Religious Service will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m., with St. John's Lutheran Church, 13 Blake Avenue, Lynbrook, NY 11563 ~

~ Interment to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Nassau Knolls, 500 Port Washington Blvd., Port Washington, NY 11050 ~

Family and friends are welcome to the funeral home before leaving for the Mass on Friday at 10:00 a.m.
