

Rosalie I. Mauro, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved great-grandmother, passed away on July 22, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Having developed a deep sense of family values and faith. She married the love of her life, James Mauro, and together they built a life filled with love and devotion. Rosalie was a pillar of strength for her family, a role she cherished dearly.
As a mother, Rosalie was devoted to her sons, Joseph (Laura) and James, nurturing them with unconditional love and support. Her grandchildren, Daniel and Andrew, held a special place in her heart, and she took great joy in watching them grow. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Adrianna and Logan, whose laughter brought immense happiness to her life.
Rosalie's faith was central to her identity, and she was a dedicated parishioner of the Experience Church in Bethpage, NY. Her strong Christian values guided her every action, and she found great comfort and solace in her spiritual beliefs. She was a true believer in the power of prayer and supported charitable causes, especially the St. Jude Charity, which held a special significance for her.
Known for her culinary skills, Rosalie was a great cook who delighted in preparing meals for her family and friends. She especially loved the springtime, seeing it as a season of renewal and new beginnings, much like the optimism she brought to those around her.
Above all, Rosalie Mauro was a matriarch who cherished her role within her family. Her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering love created a bond that will endure through generations. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In honoring Rosalie's memory, her family invites friends and loved ones to join in celebrating her life on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8:30.Interment Thursday at 11:00am. A service will be held at the James Funeral Home Wednesday at 7:45 with Pastor Sal Bennardo. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire us all.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Charity in Rosalie's name, continuing her commitment to helping others in need.
Rosalie's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace, reunited with her heavenly Father, where she will find eternal peace and joy.
Rest in peace, Rosalie. You will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
