Rosanne Cheryl Ferber

How do you say goodbye to someone you have known your entire life. The one that gave you life and your first family. We laughed, we cried, and we fought together. It is with a heavy heart, that I must announce the passing of my Mother, Rosanne Reis Ferber.

It seems like the "12th of Never" As never would I have imagined the first day without my Mom. Someone I have stood by for so many years.

She loved to cook. So much that we always had way too much extra. We would give portions to our friends, and there was always enough for anyone to show up at the house. I believe it was impossible for her to cook for two.

Her biggest love was animals. In 2012 we began fostering cats, from kittens to seniors. We got many adopted, but not all. We ended up with some of them, and every single one was loved for as long as we had them.

I will love you until the 12th of never and I hope you find all the butterflies and beautiful animals you have been looking for.

A visitation for Rosanne will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758, followed by a religious service from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
