ROY SOLVANG, passed away on March 22, 2013 of Massapequa Park. Beloved husband of 60 years to Dorothy. Devoted Father of Deborah Panasuk (Paul) and Robin. Loving grandfather of Katrina (David) and Adam. Proud United States Navy Veteran of WWII. Member of the VFW, American Legion and Pioneers of America. Long time member of St. David's Church in Massapequa. Roy loved woodworking and gardening.

Family and friends can visit on Monday March 25th between the hours of 2:00 to 4:30 and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~Family and friends are welcome to the funeral home 1 hour before the funeral service. ~ Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday March 26th at St. David' Lutheran Church 20 Clark Blvd. Massapequa. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn Road, Farmingdale, New York. ~
