Barbara Greene

Barbara Ann Greene, 72, of Maysville died Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Ms. Greene was a caregiver and a member of the Scott United Methodist Church. She was born in Mason County, Kentucky on October 29, 1941 the daughter of the late Carl and Fannie Jones Greene. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three sons, Alonzo Greene (Eloise), Lambert Greene and Preston Greene all of Maysville, KY; four grandchildren, Ty Lee Greene of Maysville, Alonna Renee Greene of Richmond, KY, Porsha Alyse Greene of Lexington, KY and Madyson Janay Greene of Ashland, KY. Ms. Greene also is survived by four sisters, Hilda Hord and Velma Wilburn both of Maysville, KY; Linda McGriff of Rockledge, Florida and Odessa Stewart of Sierra Vista, Arizona; three brothers, Wendell Greene of Los Angeles, CA; Ulysses Greene of Texarkana, AR and George Greene of Maysville, KY. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Carl Greene, Jr., William Greene, John Greene and Charles Greene and two sisters, Martha Commodore and Betty Bradley. Funeral services for Barbara A. Greene will be held at the Scott United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM Saturday December, 28, 2013 with Rev. James Turley officiating. Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The arrangements are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
