Deborah DeHoag

Born February 18, 1949 in Maysville, KY, Debbie was the eldest daughter of a large family. She had impeccable musical talent, graduating from Morehead State University with a degree in Music Education. She also earned a Masters and a rank one in Music Education from Northern Kentucky University.

As a music teacher, choir director and Gifted & Talented resource teacher, Debbie taught three generations of young people throughout Kentucky. Her passion was her students.

Debbie married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" DeHoag, on February 1, 1969. She and Bob celebrated 46 joyful years of marriage, family and friendship. Debbie was also deeply dedicated to her church, serving the Lord at every turn through glorious song.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Bob; son, Chuck; grandchildren, Andrew and Lillian; and siblings Nancy, Bill, Jackie, Sandy, Jeff, Tim, Samantha, and Kelley.

Memorial Gifts can be made to the music program at St. Matthews Episcopal Church of Louisville, KY.

Services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, April 16th at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 330 N. Hubbards Lane, Louisville, Kentucky 40207.
