Dorothy Irvin Patterson

Dorothy Irvin Patterson, born May 22, 1928 in Fleming County, KY the daughter of the late William T. and Mary Rawlings Irvin passed away suddenly, Saturday, October 8, 2011 while visiting in Nicholasville, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell “Pat” Patterson on July 13, 2011. Dorothy is survived by her children, Kenneth Whaley, Jack Whaley and Kathy Lew; step-children Mark, Mike, Steve and Dee Dee Patterson and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Irvin Snider, one brother, W. T. “Buddy” Irvin. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Warren Mapes and two sisters, Agnes Cooper and Lilly Wilson. Funeral services will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2011. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service. Burial will be in the Charter Oak Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Knox & Brothers Funeral Home, Maysville, KY.
