Larry Hiles

Larry L. Hiles, age 66 of Xenia, Ohio, passed away Monday December 5, 2011. He was born December 24, 1944 in Maysville, Kentucky, the son of the late Donald L. and Madge M. (Rolph) Hiles. Larry was employed in assembly at General Motors, retiring in 2006 after 38 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald S. Hiles; and a granddaughter, Amber Shackleford. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen (Pettit) Hiles; three children, Kelly Newdigate and husband Mark of Maysville, David Hiles and Galina Shevaturina of Fairborn, Scott McCracken of Waco, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Hiles of St. Charles, Missouri; his step-father, John Reetz of Maysville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Services for Mr. Hiles will be Friday, Dec. 9 at 2 P.M. at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service.
