Martha Thomas

Martha Gifford Thomas, 78, former resident of Ashwood in Maysville, died Monday June 4, 2012 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Thomas was born at Higgninsport, OH on April 19, 1934, the daughter of the late Stanley and Maude Blackburn Gifford. She was a member of the First Chritian Church. Her husband, Adrian Thomas, well known Maysville businessman, died on August 28, 1997. Mrs. Thomas is survived by her daughter Sandy (Jim) Cummins of Lexington and two sons Mike Thomas of Maysville and Jeff thomas of Austin, TX, four grandchildren Drew Case, Brett Case, Evan Thomas and David Thomas and one great grandchild Brady Case. Funeral Services for Martha Thomas will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Knox and & Brothers Funeral Home with burial in the Maysville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Drew Case, Brett Case, Evan Thomas, David Thomas, Mark Funk and Jim Cummins. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday June 7 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Rd. Maysville, KY 41056.
