Stephanie Carole Woodruff

Stephanie Woodruff, 42, of Maysville went to be with our Lord on Friday, October 4, 2013. Stephanie was born in Maysville, Kentucky on December 21, 1970 the daughter of Deborah Botkins Bowles of Maysville, KY and the late Steven Calvert Bowles. She graduated from Maysville Community and Technical College with an associate degree and continued her education at Northern Kentucky University pursuing and education in psychology. While at NKU she was inducted into the Golden Key Society for ranking in the top Fifteen percent of her junior class. She left her studies to help care for her elderly grandmother. Stephanie loved to cook and was very generous sharing her cooking with family and charities alike. She was a member of the New Life Assembly Church in the Orangeburg community. The love and devotion of Stephanie to her family and friends will be truly missed as a good soul has passed this way. She was devoted to her dogs, LuLu, Bubba, Ginger Ann, Lady Bird, Bear and Buddy. Besides her mother, she is survived by her beloved husband of twenty-two years, Roy Woodruff; her half-brother, Steven Bowles of Winchester, KY; her aunt, Joyce McClane and uncles, James Botkins and Roger Botkins (Cathy) all of Maysville, KY; cousins, Angela Touchton (Brian) of Jacksonville, FL, Shannon America (Owen) of Erlanger, KY and Nicholas Botkins of St. Louis, MO. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Emery and Anna Pearl Fowler Bowles and her maternal grandparents, Leonard and Edith Elizabeth Botkins. Funeral services for Stephanie Woodruff will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October, 9, 2013 with Rev. Debbie Horn officiating and special music by Rev. Joy Botkins. Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Ribolt, KY. Pallbearers will be Henry Tucker, Rex Latham, Pete Woodruff, Roger Latham, Herbie Latham and Danny Woodruff. Honorary Pallbearer will be Bobby Gene Tucker. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
