Virginia Slack Fields

Virginia Slack Fields, 93, of Maysville, Kentucky died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Mrs. Fields was the widow of Henry Fields who died in 1995. She was a member of the Lawrence Creek Christian Church and was a graduate of the Minerva High School. Virginia was born in Mason County, Kentucky on October 5, 1922 the daughter of the late Clem and Bessie Thomas Slack. She is survived by her daughter, Jennette Tolle (Don) of Maysville, KY; granddaughter, Gaye Lynn Litzinger of Maysville, KY; two great grandchildren, Bradley Litzinger and Emily Litzinger both of Maysville, KY; two nieces, Carla VanWinkle of Lexington, KY and Kim Mullikin of Germantown, KY and one nephew, Billy Slack of Maysville, KY. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William T. Slack and Howard Slack, one sister, Mary Elizabeth James and two nephews, Larry Slack and Joe Slack. Private services were held at the convenience of her family with interment in the Charleston Bottoms Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, Kentucky 41056. Arrangements were entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
