William A. Whaley

William Whaley, 76 of Maysville died Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1937 in Washington, KY to the late Vernol Corde and was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Frances Whaley. Mr. Whaley was a member of the Scott United Methodist Church and The Scott Aires and retired from Meadowview Regional Medical Center where he worked in Environmental Services.

He is survived by his son Renwick Arthur Whaley of Vacaville, CA; step sons, Charles Wayne Thomas, Columbus, OH, William Eugene Thomas, San Francisco, CA; step daughters, Evalena Smith, Cincinnati, OH, Wanda Lee Lyshea and Francis Gail Clay of Columbus, OH; Thirteen Grandchildren and Twenty Three Great grandchildren; Brothers, Thomas Corde and Michael Corde; sisters, Phyllis Corde and Linda Kay Corde.

Services for William Whaley will be held at 1PM Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Scott United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Turley officiating. Burial will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11AM to the hour of service.
