Mr. Adrian Gerard Sykes, age 39, of Evans, Georgia passed away October 20, 2015. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Allene Williams Sykes and the late Charles Sykes. Upon graduating high school, he served his country in the United States Army after which he led a fulfilling life. He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and many other outdoor activities. Adrian was a loving fiancé, father and an amazing jokester. Survivors include his fiancé, Shannon James; children, Memphis and Kaylee; step-children, C.J., Morgan, and Jonas; grandmother, Nellie “Big Momma” McVey; mother, Allene Gray; sisters, Tiffany Cofer, Cindy Cofer, Jennifer Nickerson; brothers, Carl Sykes, Richard Sykes, and Robert Sykes; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:00 am at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs with Pastor Jim Miller officiating.
