Alan loved being an instructor; teaching and mentoring men and women apprentices into becoming Journeymen IBEW Electricians. He worked closely with his vendors and contractors and took pride in the fact that many of them became close friends.
Alan loved his coworkers. They were not just coworkers, they were part of the brotherhood IBEW is known for and Marie and Alan always considered them to be family. Alan took pride in teaching these amazing apprentices to become journeymen to work anywhere in the world. Alan always took the time to go the extra mile with his students helping guide them through their apprenticeship and their personal lives.
Alan knew his students could not be the best of the best in their career if they were not the best version of themselves to their spouses, parents, children, and siblings. Alan was always there for his wife, sons, coworkers, students, and everyone he loved. He will be missed dearly.
