Alice Morrison

Celebrating the life of Alice Marie Morrison (Webster/Carpenter), died at age 71. Alice was raised in College Park, GA and lived most of her adult life in Jonesboro, GA and McDonough, GA. Alice graduated from Lake Shore High School in College Park, GA and attended the University of West Georgia where she earned a B.A. in Sociology. Alice worked most of her adult life as a Nursing Assistant and Elderly Aide.

For those that knew Alice, she was a unique and beautiful person. She lived her life by her choices. She had a wild and loud laugh and was easily charmed by any joke. If you told her, you collected or liked something she was going to buy a trinket for your collection for every occasion. She loved the colors red and blue. She was always a Georgia Bulldogs Fan. She loved to travel and was always willing to take a trip anywhere. She loved people very deeply and differently than most and will be missed.

Alice was the daughter of the late Bernard Berl (B.B.) Morrison Sr., and the late Sue Marie Hyatt Morrison, a sister to the late Bernard (Bernie) Berl Morrison Jr. Alice was proceeded in death by her ex-husbands Joseph Webster and Max Carpenter.

Alice is remembered in death by her daughter and son-in-law Amanda (Webster) Tavares and Eddie Tavares. Her grandchildren, Chase Cargle, Bradley Tavares, and Lilliana Tavares. Her nephew Matthew Morrison, his children Molly and Bonnie. Her nephew Benjamin (Sydney) Morrison and his children Oscar and Issac. Her stepdaughter Rachel (Cline) Cook (Jamie Cook), step grandchildren Jacob Cook, JJ Daniel and Kayla Daniel Doan. Her stepchildren Jenny Buice (step-granddaughter Bree Buice), Sara Carpenter, Ryan Carpenter, Fran Archer. Cousin William (Doc) Hyatt and wife Sonya Hyatt and numerous loving cousins and family across the United States.

A private celebration of life will take place in the near future and to be announced at a later date.
