I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there for Mrs. Ann’s funeral (or rather celebration of life). She was such a wonderful, godly and caring person who always had a smile and encouraging word for others. I will always be grateful for the time I was able to spend learning from her on missions trip to Puerto Rico, but most importantly that year of furlough when y’all spent time helping me and Bro Rob start a Spanish ministry at Liberty when I was just 17 years old and already planning to go into full time missions one day. You both took it seriously and fulfilled my request and helped get that ministry started and trained me while doing it- I will forever remember her sweet words of advice that were offered so lovingly and never to make me feel awkward or bad even though I was so shy and my Spanish basically consisted of just reading things off a paper at the time. But she would sweetly correct or exhort or lead me to do things a bit differently by telling my more about the culture and how things were done or teach me just about being a missionary and in service, as did Bro Buck. I will always look back on those times with a grateful heart. Her influence and lessons will always live on in so many and I know she has been welcomed home with a resounding “well done!”

Mrs Buchanan was an amazing woman!  I have fond memories of her servant leadership and pouring love into us teens in Puerto Rico playing games, serving snacks and sharing an encouraging word or scripture to inspire us young adults 🇵🇷 🏝️  May you be comforted and experience peace during this time of loss. - Stephen Sprunger and Family

Anna's was always fun and an encouragement to me and all of our family.  I loved to hear her sing
"Thank-you , Lord." She had the sweetest smile and cared about everyone. I remember how she made her shopping trips and evangelistic outreach to meet new folk and invite them to Berea Baptist Church in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.  I can only remember her praise to God and her many, many kindnesses to others.

Mrs. Buchanan was a blessing. You could always count on a big smile from her even when she didn't feel good. She was a joy to know, and we will all miss her so much.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss brother Steve.  In remembering Ann,  I remember her love of life, family, people, and the Lord.  My first meeting was in Puerto Rico as we worked with a group that had come down for a mission trip during her first year there.  She kept us laughing. 
 My next wonderful memory was of her joy as we went parandaing/ caroling in her neighborhood.  My final memory was of her being so kind to remind me that I could always come for a visit to one of my heart's homes in PR.     Well I never got back for that visit, so I look forward to my next visit with her which will be on those golden shores in my final heart's home, heaven with Jesus.

Ann was such a jewel. I will always appreciate how she loved and cared for my own young missionaries, Alexander and Kristen, and so many others as well. She will be greatly missed.

Ann and I grew up in Thomaston Ga. on B Street. We were best friends and made many memories with her brother Kenneth and her mother. We kept in touch some thru the years and she never forgot my birthday. Ann was a sweet kind person and it broke my heart to hear of her passing. Prayers for her family.
