Andy James Wheeler

Andy James Wheeler, age 46, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Andy was born May 10, 1975 in Griffin, Georgia. He was a graduate of Henry County High School in 1994. Andy lived in McDonough, GA in the Ola Community and was a member of Sharon Church. He worked at Ford Motor Company for ten years, then moved on to a career with Home Depot then settling into a position as a subcontractor. Andy loved to fix anything mechanical, loved baseball, he enjoyed music and spending time with his friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ike Marshal and Becky Piper Wheeler. Andy is survived by his sisters, Scarlett Wheeler (Jay) Simmons, Myra Wheeler (Jay) Higgins Angie Wheeler Johnson, Jessica Wheeler (Cassie) Eells, Tabitha (Jason) Swayze, Josh (Cassandra) Wheeler and Ike (Seleka) Wheeler, Jr. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Wenell Wheeler along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is survived by his life long friend Debbie Chastain of Douglasville, GA. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Sharon Church of McDonough, GA in memory of Andy Wheeler.
