Angela Jo Hill

Mrs. Angela Jo Hill, age 59 of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 24, 2016. She was born in Marietta, Georgia to Robert Arthur and Shirley Gaye Gilliam Chitwood. Angie graduated from Morrow High School, Class of 1975 and was a member of Morrow First United Methodist Church. She retired after 35 years with the Henry County Board of Education as a Professional Learning Coordinator. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Greg Hill of McDonough; parents, Bob and Shirley Chitwood of Stockbridge; daughter, Christina (Darius) Bailey of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Trenton Hill of McDonough, Reannah Hill of Hampton and Zander Bailey of Kennesaw; siblings, Karen (Kenny) Atkinson of Griffin and Steve (Carol) Chitwood of Carnesville; her furry son, Harley Davidson Hill. She was preceded in death by two children, Jeremy Moss and Ashley Hill. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 – 2:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Waters will officiate. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park at 3:30 pm. Friends may visit the family Wednesday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Angie. The family has asked all those attending to dress casual for the service.
