Archie Raymer

Archie Raymer age 75 of Jackson passed away August 24, 2014 at his residence. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed. An avid outdoorsman, Archie was a member of Worthville Baptist Church and was retired from The Georgia Department of Transportation after 34 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Donald, Sr. and Louise Raymer. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Martha Raymer of Jackson; sons and daughters in law, Robert and Beth Raymer of Jackson and David and Linda Raymer of Ringgold; daughter and son in law, Cindy and Keith Kilgore of Williamson; son, Michael Raymer of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister Sylvia Davis of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Interment will be in Worthville Baptist Church Cemetery.
