Barbara Jean Meyers, age 75, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024. She was born in Orlando, Florida on March 1, 1949 to the late Robert and Betty O'Neal. Barbara was also preceded in death by her best friend and love, Nicholas Franks. She retired from Orange County, Florida Sheriff's Office after working there for 35 years. Barbara loved all animals, especially cats. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Jane (Danny) Richardson of McDonough, GA and John Columbus Giddens, III of Apopka, FL, grandchildren, Ashley (Joseph) Cunningham, Patricia Giddens, Alex Dalba (Stephanie Clark) and Jacob Giddens, one brother Robert I. O'Neal of Orlando, FL and eight great grandchildren.
