Mrs. Betty Grace Perry Merritt, age 82 of Atlanta, Georgia passed away September 7, 2014. She was born in McDonough, Georgia to the late George Robert Perry, Sr. and Emma Grace Greer Perry. Betty graduated from Henry County High School, Class of 1949 and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Audrey McCurdy and Bob Silvers of Guam; siblings, Mary Sue Johnson of Dacula, Millie (Bob) Lunsford of Birmingham, AL, Robert (Jann) Perry of Evans, David (Charlene) Perry of Snellville; father of Audrey, Jack Merritt of Jackson. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to Liberty Hill Baptist Church in memory of Betty.
