Betty Jo Storer

Mrs. Betty Jo Storer, age 86 of Hampton, Georgia passed away March 7, 2018. She was born in East Point, Georgia to the late Lamar and Eugie Jack McCord Orr. Betty graduated from Russell High School, Class of 1948. She attended Crossroads Community Church in Fayetteville. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and entertain her family. She enjoyed shopping, decorating, cooking, camping and looking forward to her next travel destination. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the Heritage Senior Center and was known as a smart shopper and outstanding money manager. Survivors include her husband of nearly 37 years, Richard Storer; children, Debbie (Mike) Waits of Cumming and Greg (Martha) Rainwater of East Point; grandchildren, Jeremy (Heather) Waits, Justin (Nicki) Waits, Zach (Kelly) Waits, Tasha (Tom) Quinn and Eric (Cassie) Rainwater; great grandchildren, Ryan Loucks, Dylan Loucks, Abby Waits, Parker Waits, Grant Waits, Bryson Waits and Hudson Waits. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 12, 2018 – 1:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Walt Weister will officiate. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery.
