Billy Joe Roddy, age 86, of Forsyth, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. He was born in East Point, Georgia on July 20, 1935 to Freeman and Velvie Roddy. Billy enjoyed spending time with family, fishing and hanging out at the Whistle Stop Cafe in Juliette. He is survived by his children, Joey (Terri Jones) Roddy of Forsyth, Tonya (Kerry) Mann of Gainesville, GA and Keith (Rhonda) Roddy of North Augusta, S.C. Five grandchildren, Aaron (Hope) Mann, Dylan (Annie) Mann, Brandon Roddy, Haley Roddy and Matthew (Leslie) Roddy. Seven great grandchildren, two brothers, Mark (Linda) Roddy and Tommy Roddy. Other family members, Kenny and Diane Hicks of Bremen, GA and Shirley, David and Michael Walraven. Kerry Mann will officiate the funeral service at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
