Mr. Bobby G. Adams, born on April 12, 1929 in Newnan, GA, passed away on November 12, 2020. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Katherine Morris, Bernard Adams, Buford Adams, and twin brother Billy Adams. Mr. Adams retired from the U.S. Army with over 21 years of service. Mr. Adams was a member of East Point Christian Church and served several years as a deacon and elder. Most recently he was an active member of McDonough Christian Church. He also served for several years on the Board of Trustees at Christian City Children’s Home. He was a member of East Point Masonic Lodge F&AM 288, Peachtree City, and a Past Master of East Point Lodge. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucile Graham Adams, and his daughter Carol Vernon and son-in-law Mike Vernon; three grandchildren, Anna Marsh (Cody), Clark Vernon, Olivia Vernon; also three great-grandchildren, Reesa, Raelyn and Riggins Marsh. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 - 3:00 PM at the McDonough Christian Church. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family has requested that contributions be made to the McDonough Christian Church or Southern Grace Hospice in memory of Mr. Adams.
