Carl Sylvester Fenty

Carl Sylvester Fenty, age 68, of McDonough, GA passed away August 1, 2015. Sylvester was born in Barbados the son of the late, Mary Olga Amin and Joseph De-Albert Fenty. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing pool, camping, traveling, shopping, and he loved the beach. Sylvester was a devout Jehovah’s Witness for 57 years and enjoyed participating in his ministry and commenting at his meetings. Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Rhoda Fenty of McDonough; children, Yvonne Fenty of McDonough, Kim Fenty of Cape Coral, FL, Latrese (Kelvin) Alexander of Greensboro, NC, Kisha Fenty of NY, NY, Carl Sylvester Fenty Jr., of NY, NY, Cherie Washington of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren, Trevor, Brianna, Chelsea, Tyler, Trey, Kelvin, Chris, Travis, Monique, and Kiani; great grandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie; siblings, Aruelia, Yvonne, Cathelene, Aquinda, Frederick, and Joseph; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Memorial talk will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 1545 GA Hwy 42 N in McDonough, on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 5:00 PM.
