Carolyn R. Williams

Mrs. Carolyn R. Williams, age 71 and lifelong resident of McDonough, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020, loving wife of the late Keith Williams. Mrs. Williams was a member of McDonough Church of Christ. Carolyn was devoted to her family and took pride in having close relationships with all her nieces and nephews. She loved all of her lifelong Henry Co. friends, especially "The Girls of '66". She is survived by her beloved son, who was her proudest accomplishment and greatest treasure: Robby (Heather) Sowell of Killeen, TX; granddaughter: Sarah Sowell; cherished siblings: Herman, Clinton, James, Agnes, and Lavern; and fur baby: Scooter. Carolyn was predeceased by her parents: Melton and Viola Rutledge; and siblings: Lamar, Lanier, Irene, and Harold. The family will receive friends at Haisten Funeral Home on Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. A graveside service will be held at Eastlawn Memorial Park on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 11:00AM with Pastor Dave Riley officiating.
