Chuck and Janet were so special to me. I spent a lot of time with them when I was in high school. At Spring Hill, he served as my surrogate father because I did not have anyone in my life to be that person. He would go with me to the Annual Father-Daughter dinners. That meant more to me than he would have ever known. He was a precious servant of the Lord. I pray that Janet and his family will be comforted by the blessing that he was to so many people.

I was lucky enough to grow up being neighbors with Chuck. I considered the Allens my 2nd family. Chuck would get on to me just as quick as he would Bobby and Mike. We were all church family too. He was a very kind and loving man.  He would help anyone that needed it. I have many fond memories of Chuck. I could be on here for hours telling y’all about them. 
One of the best memory I have is that every Thanksgiving or Christmas, he would make pecan pies. Every year he would bring my family one. Let me tell you, that was the best pecan pies that I ever had. I glad I can call Chuck my friend.  I will miss you sir. I will see you again one day.

He was one of my favorite people. He ALWAYS showed love in his eyes. I know without doubt he is with the Lord because you could see the Lord in him. ❤️

It is difficult for me to write how much Chuck Allen meant to me. People used to ask us if we were brothers. Of course we would say yes.  They might say, I mean blood brothers, of course we would say yes to that. Our relationship was closer than mere friendship.  We are brothers by the blood of Jesus Christ.  Our children grew up together, so our families are close. We did so much together as families our children called each of us "uncle".  
Chuck is my friend and brother forever.

Chuck Allen was one of the most respected men I have ever met.   He was definitely a Godly man. He loved the Lord.  I thought the world of him. He was so respectful and kind.  I had the upmost trust for him.
I dont think he knew just how I felt.... I wish he did....cause he was at the top of the list in being who I respected the most.  He already had stars on
his crown when meeting the
Lord.  He was a great man and
adored his family.  He adored
his wife tremendously.  I am so proud he crossed my path of life.  He and his son, Mike did work for me, and we attended the same church.
I thought of him as a dear friend. I am so happy I knew this man .  So happy he was a part of my life. A pleasure to
have known such a good man.
I treasure the times with him and his family.

Papa, I love you so much. I miss you too. But we all know you’re in a much better place than all of us. You had a heart of gold, a big sense of humor, and a smile that could light up a room. You were always so loving towards us and you had more patience than most. I will always miss you and I will never forget you no matter what happens. Granny will be taken care of and that is a promise. We’ve got a whole family by her side so just know that you can Rest In Peace knowing she is alright and cared for. I will forever miss you. We will meet again one day and I am looking towards that. 

Brother Chuck was one of the finest men I ever had the pleasure to know. He had a tremendous influence on me in my younger years. He was there at Spring Hill when I knocked my tooth out on the front row pew. In fact, he caught that tooth as it fell out of my mouth. He was on the Gulf Shores fishing trip and saved me from falling overboard when I hooked an amberjack that was too much for my 13 yr old self to handle, then he reeled it in for me. There are so many more things I could list. Yesterday, we lost a great man. My life is better because of the small amount of time I knew him. Til we meet again sir. It was an honor.

Chuck was my father in law for 12 years. He was such a sweet, honest, fair and a good christian man. He was the most kindhearted man I've ever known. He looked out for his family and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. I loved him dearly. My heart goes out to the family left behind. I know he will be deeply missed but I know without a doubt he is reaping the rewards with Jesus now for being the man that he was here on earth.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.  What an awesome promise!  My prayers are with you all as you grieve Uncle Chuck's physical presence.   What a wonderful example he was of everything that Jesus taught us to be.  Oh I loved him.  Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God - and so he has.  Can't wait to see him again.   Love you all.

I grew up in Cedar Grove close to Bobby and Mike had a lot of fun with them on that dirt road Barbara lane. I think the paved it now.  Chuck will be sorely missed, from my viewpoint he was always calm and kind to everyone he met. Later as I went into business for myself I discovered him to a highly reputable and honest businessman a credit to the business community. He raised a great family and was well loved no doubt. The memories of the Allen's especially Chuck  live on in my heart. God received a good man on the 28th and  said... Well done, servant, good and faithful, over a few things thou wast faithful, over many things I will set thee; enter into the joy of thy lord. May God Bless you all. 

Oh, my Pop. How much I'm gonna miss you can't even be described with words. I love you so much. 

The first time I met your Dad he was sitting on his front porch. I was with Terri and she told him who I was and from day one till the last time I saw him he was the sweetest man. He invited me in and got us some sweet tea. I am so sorry he is gone. He loved Janet his wife and all his kids. I never heard a bad thing come out of his mouth, but when you were around him you could tell he loved Jesus by the way he lived. My prayers go up for all of you........Faye Sanders.

When most parents were all about the rules and doing things right, Chuck did it in a way that made doing the right thing fun.  Bobby and I got in the car with him m to go somewhere once and expecting him to drive like other adults, Chuck gunned it. When we were surprised at this, Chuck grinned and said, "The law says the speed limit is 45. It doesn't say how much time you have to get there."
From that moment on, I thought he was the coolest Dad in the whole world. 

I wish I had words to mend your broken hearts. I am saddened to hear of the passing your loved one. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the coming days.

Daddy,  you and mama gave me the best childhood, raised me in a Christian home with Christian values. You worked so hard for us and you showed unconditional love to us.   It is beyond words what I feel in my heart right now.  The pain of not having you here physically, seeing you smile at me and saying "my favorite daughter" and telling me that you love me.  The devastation of watching them put the sheet and flag over your face as they took your body from us today.  The love I have for you.  The joy and happiness that I have knowing you have your new body and you are with our Jesus and I will see you again.   Please know that we will take care of mama and I miss you so much.  I love you, daddy!! 

 I was very saddened to hear about this. I went to the Grove with Bobby and Mike.
