

Confidence Ngezem (November 15, 2000-August 20, 2018) was born in Cameroon, Africa, and immigrated to the U.S. with his family when he was one. In terms of education, Confidence was a senior in Dutchtown high school, taking dual-enrolled classes in college since grade 11 and was a full-time student at Clayton State University right up to his passing to eternity. He was a top tier student, who featured in honor roll throughout his high school life. He was a voracious reader, who from middle school until date desired and worked for being a brain surgeon. He also represented his school in reading bowl. He was very thoughtful and intelligent, especially in impromptu situations.
Confidence was quite athletic. He was a good swimmer, played soccer, American football, and represented his middle school in wrestling. Confidence was the flight commander for JROCT in Dutchtown high and his peers and leaders held him in high esteem.
At the social scene, Confidence was very jovial and was cheerful throughout the day he passed. He loyal to his friends and had a very strong attachment to children, even those he met for the first time.
As a Christian, Confidence was very kind, forgiving, generous, and selfless. His passing is a major loss for his family and the community to which he held fast. He left behind loving family members, including his nuclear family: Professor Eugene Ngezem (father), Dr. Gladys Ngezem (mother), Paradise Ngezem, Destiny Ngezem, and Treasure Ngezem (siblings).
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 – 11:00 AM at Southside Christian Fellowship, 750 Mt. Carmel Road, McDonough, GA 30253. Pastor Eddie Mason will officiate. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
