Corlis Elaine Miller

Mrs. Corlis Elaine Miller, age 73 of McDonough, GA passed away peacefully on Sunday November 29, 2020 following an extended illness. Corlis was born on March 24, 1947 in Cedartown, GA., daughter of the late Wallace Atkins & Evelyn Venable. Corlis was an avid painter; having created many pieces throughout the years. Her husband, Roy, was the light of her life; they were inseparable. Corlis loved her entire family; especially her children, grandchildren, sister, and dog; Luke. Corlis was preceded in death by her parents and also a sister, Diane Carnes. She attended McDonough Christian Church.

Survivors include her loving husband; Roy Arthur Miller of McDonough, GA, daughter & son-in-law; Tiffney & Charles Flowers of Blairsville, GA, son & daughter-in-law; Michael Darren & Pam Miller of McDonough, GA., one sister; Ramona Puckett of Cedartown, GA., and three grandchildren; Amy Jordan Harris, Jessica Flowers, and Reese Flowers, several nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday December 19, 2020 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Keith Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Corlis’ memory.
