Mr. Daniel Reginald Preston, age 59, of McDonough, GA passed away October 13, 2015. Reggie was born in Atlanta, GA and worked most of his working career as an electrician through the IBEW. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, movies, history, working at Tribulation Trail each fall and working on mission trips with Constructors for Christ. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Dan Preston in 1998. Survivors are his mother, Joyce Preston of McDonough; brothers, Randy Preston (Linda) of Illinois and Robby Preston (Billie) of Griffin; sister-in-law, Karen Preston of Stockbridge; nieces and nephews, Kristy Kittinger of NC, Kerry Preston of TX, Jack Preston of McDonough, Paul Preston of NV, Travis Preston of Griffin, Nick Preston of New Mexico, and Bailee Donald of Griffin; and several great nieces and nephews. A Memorial service for Reggie will be on Friday, October 16, 2015 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Halstead officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
