Dorothy Louise Keller

Dorothy Louise Keller, age 84, passed away on the morning of August 9, 2023. She was born August 21, 1938 in Gillsville, Georgia to the late Robert Lee Smallwood and Clara Bell Smallwood. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Frank Keller; sons, Richard Floyd Keller, Raymond Mark Keller; 7 brothers and 4 sisters.

“Dot” enjoyed shopping, cooking, watching her grandchildren and vacationing at the beach. As a sports lover, her favorite team was the Atlanta Braves. Animals held a special place with Dot especially her dogs. She always showed how much she loved and cared for her family. She attended Turning Point Church.

Mrs. Keller is survived by her son; Allen (Gayle) Keller of McDonough, Georgia, daughters; Sandra Spalding of Chesnee, South Carolina, Sara (Chuck) Essex, Donna (Mike) McDevitt all of McDonough, Georgia; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 5PM until 7PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Haisten Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park, Georgia.
