Doug Foster, 85 passed away at his home on January 24, 2026. He was born in McDonough, GA on February 23, 1940 to the late E. Roy and Cora Foster. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Foster and several siblings. Doug spent a lot of time watching the Georgia Bulldogs or NASCAR and enjoyed eating at Cracker Barrel and the Mexican Restaurant with family.
He is survived by his children, Debbie Britt of St. Simons Island and Danny (Tammey) Foster of Senoia, grandchildren, Garrison (Jennie) Britt, Delaney Britt (Ethan) Dutton, Drew (Lauren) Foster and Ansley Foster (Clay Webb), brothers William Foster and Tommy (Brooksie) Foster and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will greet friends from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, 992 Mt Bethel Rd, McDonough, GA 30252. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
