Mrs. Edith Janlee “Eadie” Tant, age 59 of McDonough, Georgia passed away May 19, 2016. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Leo Harold and Alma Jean Grogan Holbert. Eadie worked for the Shepherd Center for over 12 years and was a member of Glad Tidings Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, baking, arts and crafts and gardening. Survivors include her husband, Michael Tant; daughters, Andrea (Brad) Parker of McDonough, Shannon (Tony) Brown of Locust Grove; grandsons, Ryan, Chase and Chandler Brown and Hunter Parker; sister, Eleyse Christensen of McDonough. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, May 23, 2016 – 2:00 pm at Crestlawn Cemetery in Atlanta. Friends may visit the family Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the Shepherd Center, Piedmont Cancer Center or Southern Grace Hospice in memory of Eadie.
