Wesley Jackson Miller Jr. passed away July 9, 2021. Jack was met at Heaven's Gate by his parents Wesley Sr and Martha and his sister Vicki. Calling Jack a Renaissance Man would be an understatement. A Georgia Tech graduate, Jack worked as a data architect but had so many more talents and loves. If he took an interest in a topic, he could master it in record time. He helped design and build his house, designed jewelry pieces for his family, was a connoisseur of all styles of music from Mozart to Pink Floyd and spent 22 yrs as a teacher. He holds the honor of being the first math teacher at Shorter College to be awarded Teacher of the Year. While teaching at Clayton State University Jack met Maria and began a 27 year journey that would bring him his most joy. The true pride of his life was his family. A family that now included his daughters Christina and Jackie as well Aunt Beth, his in-laws Nelson and Fresia and his many friends and church family at Mt. Bethel UMC in McDonough, Ga. Jack will forever be remembered as a man who never met stranger, a man who loved to laugh (even at himself) and a man who was selfless, forgiving and full of kindness. A visitation for Jack will be held Wednesday July 14, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday July 15, 2021 at Mt Bethel United Methodist Church in McDonough ,Ga at 11:00 am.
