Jacques Barthelemy passed away unexpectedly at age 52 on the night of December 7, 2022 in his resident city of McDonough, GA. He is survived by his wife, Myrtha Antonio Barthelemy (née Pierre); his children, Jamyrrhe Barthelemy and Debyguil Barthelemy; and his brother, Dumorel Barthelemy. He is predeceased by his brother, Guitho Barthelemy; his mother, Sulna Barthelemy; and his father, Exilhomme Barthelemy.
He was born July 7, 1970 to Exilhomme Barthelemy and Sulna Barthelemy (née Exima) in Côtes-de-Fer, Haiti. In Haiti where he was raised he spent his adulthood as a professor in French, Literature, and Philosophy. He married his wife Myrtha Barthelemy on December 15, 1996; they had their two children Jamyrrhe and Debyguil in 1998 and 2000, respectively. After coming to the United States Jacques was a hard working, blue collar man who last worked as an Equipment Operator. He was a simple man who found joy in his daily news, the outdoors, his family, and his faith and religious routines. His funeral will be held at 11:00am on December 27, 2022 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, GA.
