James "Jimmy" Ashley Coleman, age 62, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Lewis Clinton Coleman and Jo Anne Maddox Coleman on June 13, 1962. Jimmy was also preceded in death by his brothers, Lewis Keith Coleman and John Wesley Coleman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, fishing, travelling, going to the beach and sports. He was an HVAC service tech for many years. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kelly Coleman, daughter Devon Yates, grandsons Levi Hunter and Lucas Yates, niece Amanda (Chris) Gaddis and other nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Beverly Howard, brother-in-law Daryl (Andrea) Brown and sister-in-law Marlana (Brandon) Gokey. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on May 1, 2025 at Glen Haven Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am. Brady Howard, Warren Green and Scott Chewning will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the New Life Building at Glen Haven Baptist Church.
