Jean Beauvais passed away, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and kindness that will never be forgotten. He was the beloved son of the late Andre Plaisance Jean Simon Beauvais and Eugene Alexandre. He was also the devoted husband of Violette Beauvais, with whom he shared 42 years of love and marriage.
Jean was originally from Léogâne, Haiti, a place that remained close to his heart throughout his life.
Jean was a devoted father to his children: Rouby, Ronald, Sean, Midine, and Leonard. He was also a proud and loving grandfather to Braylon, Xavier, Malachi, Alex, Lisa, Fred, Samantha, Christian, Maya, and Aaliyah, all of whom brought him great joy.
A man of deep faith, Jean loved going to church and faithfully served as a deacon at Ebenezer Haitian Community Church. His commitment to God and his church family was an important part of his life.
Jean worked in several lottery banks over the years and was also a skilled tailor, known for making pants and suits with care and craftsmanship. He also worked at Publix as a baker, where he was known for his dedication and hard work.
Jean found happiness in the simple things—watching wrestling, sharing laughter, and spending meaningful time with his family. He was known for his open arms and generous heart, always willing to help anyone in need. He was humble, yet courageous, and his strength and kindness touched everyone who knew him.
He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he impacted.
Bible Verse
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
— Psalm 23:1–4
