Jimmie Louis Roberts

Mr. Jimmie Louis Roberts, age 80, of Griffin, GA passed away September 1, 2016. Jimmie was born in Washington, GA the son of the late Mary Amerson Roberts and George Stanley Roberts. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Garner Roberts. Mr. Roberts served his country in the Army National Guard, he was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, wood working, gardening, quilting and his ice cream. Survivors are his children, Beth Peters (Chuck) of Griffin, Mark Fenninger (Christy) of Newnan, Andy Roberts (Paula) of Canton, Suzanne Pugh (Ray) of Canton, Tony Roberts of Griffin, and John Roberts of Griffin; 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Gardner (Lloyd) of Conyers; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 3, 2016 – from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016 – 4:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Wentz officiating.
