Jimmy Mack Arthur Collins Jr.

Mr. Jimmy Mack Arthur Collins, Jr., age 49, of Locust Grove, GA passed away May 3, 2016. Jimmie was born in Fort Pierce, Florida and retired as a Fulton County Fire Fighter with 29 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, flying his plane, traveling the world, being an airplane mechanic, truck driver, motorcycle rider, small business entrepreneur, remodeling and managing real estate, and known to many as a Jack of All Trades. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Pascale Feraud Collins of Locust Grove; children, Aubree Thompson of Ohio, Amber Thompson of Atlanta and Isabelle Collins of Locust Grove; grandson, Dawud Thompson; father, Jimmie Mack Arthur Collins, Sr. of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Laretta Brown of Decatur, GA; maternal grandmother, Eloise Thomas of Westland, Detroit; siblings, Terry Smith of Decatur, Tyrone (Qujulana) Brown of Fairburn, Tonjia Brown of Stone Mountain, Arthur (Yolonda) Brown of Lithonia, Tina (Bruce) Wilson of Ellenwood, TeAndre Brown of Decatur, Michael Brown of Atlanta, Shemeka Brown of Decatur, Nyla Pryce Brown of Norcross, Nafis Brown of Atlanta, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 14, 2016 beginning 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Virgie Braxton officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, GA 30349 at 2:00 PM with Fire Fighter’s honors.
