Mrs. Jo Ann Hollis White, age 70, of Locust Grove, GA passed away June 22, 2022. Mrs. White was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Ruth and Paul Hollis. She was a wonderful mom to 2 daughters and a loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren. She was full of life until complications from COPD caused her to slow down. She traveled across the United States a few times as she really didn’t like staying in one place for very long. She liked to go and see, and this sense of adventure was what motivated her to live in several states throughout her adulthood. She liked to be busy, and she especially loved shopping. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A. White. Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law Tammy and Keith Sherrill of Dallas, Georgia and Amanda and Gene Oden of Jackson, Georgia; grandchildren, Jacob, Connor, and Ashlynn Sherrill, and Attie, Gene (Danielle) and Emily Oden; great-grandchildren, Remington, Aysheh, Mikeal and Selena.
A celebration of life service for Mrs. White will be held Tuesday, July 5th at 4PM at the First Baptist Church of High Falls in Jackson, Georgia officiated by Henry Young.
