John Paul McMahon, Sr., age 83 of McDonough, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020, loving husband of 61 years to June Campbell McMahon. Mr. McMahon was born in Atlanta to the late Harold and Irene McMahon. John proudly served as a Marine. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Chuck (Joanne) McMahon of Griffin, Bryan (Lora) McMahon of Locust Grove, Patrick (Kelly) McMahon of McDonough, Jennifer (Gary) May of McDonough, and Danny (Donna) McMahon of Locust grove; many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and brother: Rufus McMahon. John was predeceased by his beloved son: Paul McMahon, Jr.. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:00AM with Pastor Adam Ganong officiating.
