Mrs. Karen Lynnette Crawford, age 49 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away June 29, 2014. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Mary Ann Clay Roland and the late David Lamar Roland. Karen was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of others, cooking, crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren and watching soap operas. Survivors include her husband, Ron Crawford of Locust Grove; children, Amanda (James) Champagne of Locust Grove, Logan (Michele) Roberts of Jackson, Lauren (Andrew) O’Leary of Dacula; grandchildren, Jackson, Bailey and Makala Champagne, Emma, Paisley and Leigha Roberts and Sadie Ray O’Leary; mother, Ann Rutledge of Stockbridge; sisters, Kim (Joey) Edwards of Stockbridge and Kathy Roland-Fisher of Williamson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 6:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Brother Jeremy Melton will officiate.
