Keith “Andrew” Hathaway, age 40, passed away in McDonough, Georgia. Born on July 31, 1984, Andrew spent considerable time in Bloomington, IL, graduating from Normal West High School and Illinois State University. Andrew was a beloved son, brother and friend whose quiet strength, gentle spirit, kind soul and tender heart touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He had a natural way of making others feel heard and cared for, often offering more through his presence than words ever could. Andrew lived with humility and integrity, and the love he held for his family and others ran deep.
He loved movies, authoring a movie review website with hundreds of reviews, relished the food at the Waffle House, considered Halloween his favorite holiday, and felt Dragon Con was a rite of passage. Andrew also had a deep passion for rescuing animals.
He is survived by his parents, Keith and Kit Hathaway; his brothers, Jacob Hathaway (Renee) and Sam Hathaway (Wendy); and his nieces and nephew: Rowan, Adeline, and William. Andrew will also be deeply missed by extended family and many dear friends.
On Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Haisten Funeral Home, 1745 Hwy 155, McDonough, Georgia, the family will host a visitation at 2pm, followed by a celebration of life service at 3pm.
