Kenneth Edwin Ferguson

Mr. Kenneth Edwin Ferguson, age 72, of McDonough, GA passed away February 13, 2015. Mr. Ferguson was born in Fort Benning, GA the son of the late Blanche Browning Ferguson and Edwin Harold Ferguson. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Faye Pugh. Mr. Ferguson served his country in the US Navy Seabees and Coast Guard. He is a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Mr. Ferguson enjoyed spending time with family and friends and before his declining health enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, sports, working, and attending his naval reunions for the past ten years. Survivors are his wife of 49 plus years, Deborah Ferguson of McDonough; children, Catherine Fain (Jimmy) of Locust Grove, Tony Ferguson (Adrienne) of McDonough; grandchildren, Brian Love, Travis Ashley, Amanda Ferguson, Mercedes Bishop, Anthony Ferguson and Anna Fain, and a great grandchild, Lee Ashley; brother, Aaron Spinks (Jackie) of Morrow and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mr. Ferguson will be Monday, February 16, 2015 – 2:00 pm in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Daryll Woodruff officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 – 6:00 PM.
