Lewis Stephen Marechale

Mr. Lewis Stephen Marechale, 72 of McDonough passed away February 22, 2019. Lewis graduated from Southwest DeKalb High School in 1964. He was an Army Veteran, avid reader, loved fishing, hunting, gardening, traveling and photography. Mr. Marechale worked in the fire protection industry for 30 years. He served as Vice President of Operations at D & C Fire Protection and retired from Gwinnett Sprinkler. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Hamby Marechale, daughters, Cindy (Jeff) Sullivan of McDonough, Melissa (Gary) Fillingim of Milner and Sherry (Marc) Lewis of Knoxville, 6 grandchildren, Hailey, Emily, Sara, Isabelle, Sophie and Nate and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers those desiring may send contributions to Bethany Baptist Church building fund. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethany Baptist Church at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 28, 2019 with Pastor Mark Powell officiating.
